Chaparral Pines’ private championship golf course is an 18-hole, par-72 masterpiece designed by for-mer U.S. Open and PGA Champion David Graham and noted Scottsdale based architect Gary Panks. It was named one of Golf Digest’s ‘Top 10 New Private Golf Courses in the U.S.’ when it opened in 1997 and consistently ranks among the magazines ‘Top 25 Private Golf Courses’ in Arizona.
The Golf Club at Chaparral Pines-Non Equity Memberships
Trailhead Membership - As part of the Chaparral Pines community, those residents selecting a chaparral Pines custom home site are required to participate in a Trailhead membership. This provides Chaparral Pines residents and their designated users access to all the activities and facilities at The Trailhead as well as access to the Chaparral Pines dining facilities and golf shop. Trailhead members may also be converted to a Pinon or Ponderosa membership upon request, per the Membership Plan requirements and subject to availability.

Ponderosa & Ponderosa Plus memberships - This membership includes all the amenities of a Trailhead membership. In addition, Chaparral Pines Ponderosa members, their designated user and their children under the age of 22 receive access to the Chaparral Pines golf course and clubhouse. Other elements include:
- Full (7 days/week) use of the Chaparral Pines golf course without payment of green fees
- 14-day advance tee time priority at the Chaparral Pines golf course
- Daily use of Chaparral Pines golf practice facilities
- Priority use of the Chaparral Pines clubhouse golf lockers and bag storage
- Play in Chaparral Pines member and member-guest tournament(s)
- Full (7 days/week) use of the Rim Club golf course without payment of green fees (Ponderosa Plus only)

Pinon & Pinon Plus Membership - This membership includes all the amenities of a Trailhead membership. In addition, Pinon members, their designated users and their children under the age of 22 receive access to the Chaparral Pines golf course and clubhouse. Other elements include:
- Use of Chaparral Pines golf course Mon. – Thurs., excluding all legal holidays, with-out payment of green fees
- Eight-day advance tee times on the Chaparral Pines golf course
- Daily use of the Chaparral Pines practice facilities
- Priority wait-list status for conversion to a Ponderosa membership, per the Membership Plan requirements and sub-ject to availability
- Use of Chaparral Pines clubhouse golf lockers and bag storage on a space available basis
- Play in Chaparral Pines member and member-guest tournament(s) on a space available basis
- Use of The Rim Club golf course Mon. – Thurs., excluding all legal holidays, with-out payment of green fees (Pinon Plus only)

The M Club Membership- The M Club is a unique private golf membership that combines access to multiple courses with a private club experience at an affordable price. Designed to bring added value to the traditional private golf membership, our members can play their choice of a number of outstanding Arizona golf courses while enjoying the quality of service and experience expected from a private club.
